Hi, I'm Sydney! I started Thread Film Co. in college and haven't looked back since. I truly believe that in every phase of my life, human connection will be at the forefront. I am endlessly grateful for the people my job brings me to and the experiences we have together. Everything is relational to me, and it's my favorite thing about life. We all have so much to learn from each other!

Emotion is how we feel our experiences, and how we remember them. It’s instinctive and part of what makes us human. I want you to feel what it felt like to be there when you look back on your photos or videos.

The definition of intimacy is, “a close familiarity or friendship; closeness.” Intimacy is intertwined throughout my work because it is part of what makes us human. I love celebrating the big moments, but I also love being around for the small, quiet, intimate parts of life that make the puzzle whole. We are designed to be close to one another, and documenting that on camera is immeasurably special.

My approach is to document whatever is in front of my lens in an honest way. I want you to be able to look back and think, “That is so us!” Experience comes first for me- a space where you are truly enjoying yourself and living in the moment is what I hope to help create. Your photos and videos will reflect that experience.

Meet Chloe
Hi, Chloe here! I started working with Sydney my junior year of college. I run the Thread Intimates Instagram page and help out with filming and photographing a variety of projects. My favorite thing about what I do is being able to show up for people and make them feel seen in a way that they might not be seen in other spaces. I challenge myself to see everyone in a creative an artistic way, so that they get a new perspective of themselves.
